Recent Work
Take a look at some of my most recent work.
SAFe Skills Rapid Delivery
Our organization encountered a significant challenge in reducing the time to market for new eLearning products. Delays in delivering training solutions limited our ability to meet customer demand, support rapid skill development, and maintain a competitive edge. These setbacks affected our capacity to empower individuals and teams with the tools needed for business agility, potentially impacting customer satisfaction and the adoption of our offerings.
THE SOLUTION
Collaborating with the Skills team, we optimized workflows and implemented scalable processes to enhance efficiency, including the creation of reusable content objects. By applying proven instructional design principles, we delivered high-quality learning experiences that reduced production time while ensuring learner engagement and instructional effectiveness.
THE RESULTS
We successfully delivered seven modules within one quarter, a significant improvement compared to five modules completed over the previous nine months. Learner survey results remained consistent or improved, highlighting sustained engagement and effectiveness. Enhanced development efficiency reduced resource strain while maintaining high-quality outcomes. This process demonstrated scalability for future projects and reinforced confidence in meeting accelerated timelines without compromising learner satisfaction.

Partner Portal redesign
Overview
The Scaled Agile Partner Portal faced significant challenges that hindered its effectiveness. Disorganized content and the lack of a search function made it difficult for users to locate materials, leading to wasted time and increased frustration. The absence of advanced features and intuitive design, such as content filters and tagging, further compounded the issue, making resource discovery inefficient and negatively impacting the overall user experience.
THE SOLUTION
To resolve these challenges, the Scaled Agile Partner Portal was completely redesigned to improve the learning experience, simplify resource access, and enhance data collection. The updated portal now features advanced search capabilities, content filters, and tagging, enabling users to quickly find relevant and related materials. These enhancements dramatically reduce search time and frustration, delivering a seamless and user-friendly experience.
THE RESULTS
While testing is ongoing, the new portal is expected to simplify content access and increase resource usage, driving greater partner engagement. Scaled Agile anticipates enhanced program awareness, stronger courseware and product sales, and actionable insights to inform future strategies.

Think like a hacker
Client: CoStream
Overview
The water and wastewater treatment industry faces escalating cyber threats targeting both operational technology and information technology systems. Cybercriminals exploit vulnerabilities through ransomware, phishing, and social engineering, putting public health at risk, disrupting essential services, and exposing facilities to severe financial and operational consequences.
Despite the critical importance of these systems, many water sector professionals are ill-equipped to address these challenges. Operators, technicians, and administrators often lack the necessary training to identify vulnerabilities or respond effectively to cyber incidents, leaving critical infrastructure dangerously exposed to breaches and operational failures. To compound the issue, cybersecurity training for this sector must meet diverse and complex needs. Training content must be modular and flexible, accommodating various delivery methods, work environments, and learning contexts. Without adaptable and targeted training resources, the industry struggles to equip its workforce with the skills needed to protect vital infrastructure effectively.
THE SOLUTION
"Think Like a Hacker" is a modular and targeted cybersecurity training program specifically designed to meet the unique challenges of the water and wastewater treatment industry.Rooted in industry best practices, the program integrates engaging, practical learning with immediate real-world applicability. Its key features include:- Interactive Learning
Quizzes, polling, scenario-based discussions, and fictional case studies actively engage participants and reinforce practical skills.- Comprehensive Content
The curriculum addresses vulnerabilities, cyber threats like ransomware and social engineering, effective incident response strategies, and building a culture of proactive cybersecurity awareness.- Practical Tools
Participants receive job aids, playbooks, and actionable resources to enhance security practices and improve operational resilience.
THE OUTCOME
This training program drives measurable improvements in cybersecurity awareness, preparedness, and action within water treatment facilities.By participating, organizations and individuals can:- Strengthen Defenses
Identify and mitigate vulnerabilities in both human and technological systems to enhance overall security.- Reduce Risk
Minimize the likelihood of successful cyberattacks, protecting operations, financial stability, and public safety.- Foster Confidence
Cultivate a proactive cybersecurity culture where employees at every level can confidently identify threats and respond effectively.- Protect Communities
Ensure the uninterrupted delivery of safe, clean water by defending against cyberattacks that could disrupt critical operations.

Partner Day revitalization
Overview
Partner participation in previous events had been steadily declining, and the adoption of new Scaled Agile products by partners was lagging. Feedback highlighted a lack of engaging, targeted content designed to empower partners to leverage Scaled Agile’s latest offerings. A change was urgently needed to create an environment that enabled partners to feel better equipped, engaged, and supported in driving value through the Scaled Agile ecosystem.
THE SOLUTION
As the learning designer, I collaborated closely with the events team to reimagine the traditional Scaled Agile Partner Day into a revitalized Partner Enablement Day for the 2024 SAFe Summit in Berlin. This included designing two high-impact enablement workshops tailored for partners:1. Facilitating and Selling the Measuring the Business Benefits of a SAFe Transformation
This session focused on aligning transformation goals with measurable business objectives, offering practical tools to develop and execute effective OKRs.2. Facilitating and Selling the Advanced Facilitator Series: Conflict and Collaboration and Value Stream Mapping Enablement
This session equipped partners with advanced collaboration techniques and process optimization strategies critical to leading successful transformations. To further enhance the partner experience, we introduced exclusive benefits, including:Early access to workshop materials.
- Complimentary access to the new SAFe Flow Series e-learning modules.
- Priority access to cutting-edge Generative AI tools from Scaled Agile.
- This redesigned format not only focused on product enablement but also emphasized creating an engaging and value-driven experience that positioned partners to succeed.
THE RESULTS
The redesigned Partner Enablement Day achieved remarkable results:
- Attendance increased by 10% compared to the previous year, reversing the declining participation trend.- Attendees left empowered with actionable insights and exclusive access to new resources, enabling them to immediately market Scaled Agile’s new offerings with confidence.- The workshops established stronger alignment between Scaled Agile and its partners, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to partner success.- The average feedback score of participants increased from the previous year from 4.2 to 4.7 out of five. This approach set a new standard for Partner Enablement, ensuring long-term engagement and adoption of Scaled Agile’s solutions across its global partner network, and this model was carried on to the next event in Washington, D.C.
